Leadership.

Christ the only King and Head of the church has graciously given gifts to his people (Eph 4:7-11), including official elders and deacons to care for their spiritual and physical needs (Acts 14:23; Phil 1:1; 1 Tim 3:1-15; 5;17; Heb 13:17; 1 Pet 5:1-4). Our pastor is a full-time elder who labours alongside his fellow officers "to equip the saints of the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ, until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to mature manhood, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ" (Eph 4:12-13). Here is a look at our current church officers:

Pastor, M.Div.

N. Adam Harris

Adam was ordained as the first full-time pastor of Trinity Covenant Church in November of 2019. He received his MDiv from Greenville Presbyterian Theological Seminary (SC) and is currently working on an additional ThM from Westminster Theological Seminary (PA). He and his wife Joy have three young children and another on the way. He loves nothing more than talking with people about Christ and answering their questions about the Bible... though playing and watching hockey are not far behind!

Elder, B.A.

Desmond Jones

Desmond loves serving in the church, and has been an elder at Trinity Covenant Church since 2011.  He received his BA in Liberal Arts and Culture from New Saint Andrews College, Moscow ID.  He and his wife Heidi raise and homeschool their five children on a small farm near Fort St John, where they raise and butcher pigs and chickens, play table tennis, and make perpetual puns.

Deacon

Matthew Wuthrich

Matthew has been serving as a deacon of Trinity Covenant Church since 2015. Regrettably, his education in engineering did not involve much Latin or Greek, so he has been forced to navigate the perils of technology to provide for his precious family! Matthew is an “in the box” type of guy who spends much of his time trying to keep up with his six kids, while endeavouring to figure out just what his wife did with his “box”...
